Over on MSNBC, Brian O'Leary Bennett, a gay Republican, confuses homosexuals and pedophiles.  He repeats the ridiculous carnard that Foley got into trouble because he was gay and in the closet.  What nonsense!  Foley got into trouble because he chased underage young men.

Being a gay Republican doesn't automatically make you a pedophile, but at least in Mr Bennet's case it seems to have a weakening effect on common sense.

So this somewhat takes the sting out of the fact that I arrived here about four hours before my plane was due to leave and my new friends at USAir couldn't get me on an earlier flight.

What!  Not even for ready money?  Well, yes, for ready money they were willing to take me to Boston quite quickly, but it was a lot of ready money.
