    BBC America fails again

I subscribe to an email newsletter from BBC America so I can keep up with the latest news about Dr Who and depressing mysteries like Wire in the Blood, but it's a losing battle -- the site seems slow, disorganized and not very current. And it's not synchronized with the mother ship at the BBC, so it's hard to correlate information from shows in the UK with what's showing the in the US.

Today, their email newsletter included a link to a survey, which sounded like a good opportunity to give them a small piece of my mind, so I went straight to it. Unfortunately, the survey itself was so disorganized I couldn't complete it.

Here's a hint to survey writers everywhere - unless you're absolutely sure it's not needed, please include a 'does not apply' choice. A typical series of questions seems to be:

    43. Have you ever eaten foosberry waffles? [ ] Yes [ ] No
    44. Please rate the following attributes of foosberry waffles:
    (Like) (Do not like)
    Taste 5 4 3 2 1
    Texture 5 4 3 2 1

No, really, I've never eaten foosberry waffles. I'm sorry I didn't make that clear.

    Grrrrr.
