Over on MSNBC, Brian O'Leary Bennett, a gay Republican, confuses homosexuals and pedophiles.  He repeats the ridiculous carnard that Foley got into trouble because he was gay and in the closet.  What nonsense!  Foley got into trouble because he chased underage young men.

Being a gay Republican doesn't automatically make you a pedophile, but at least in Mr Bennet's case it seems to have a weakening effect on common sense.

I've added to the photos on the right some pictures I took while we were digging out of the blizzard of 2005 (or if you're a pessimist, "a blizzard" of 2005).

It took the two of us about an hour and forty-five minutes to clear the cars.  There was too much snow to just throw it into a pile, so we had to walk it across or along the street.  You can see someone else doing that -- walking a shovelful of snow along the street -- in the "Street #4" picture.
